A dream come true, who knows?

Pianos were, and still are, popular instruments for private household ownership. hence, pianos have gained a place in the popular consciousness, and are sometimes referred to by nicknames including: " the ivories", "the joanna", the eighty-eight", 'the blacks and whites". Playing the piano is sometimes referred to as "tickling the ivories".

Every pianist dream of owning a grand piano, especially after watching Jay Chou's white colour grand, Elton John's pinky pinky, Vanessa Carlton's pinky pinky, Marilyn Monroe's white lacquered grand piano and so many more.

Some people fancies the transparent grand piano, as the keys are played, we can see the hammer knocking on each string. Kawai has one!

This is so cool! The colour, the artsy design on it...
Comparing to the classic black grand piano, this one is UBER CUTE ! Do consider buying this if you have extra $$, and do invite me to have a "look" ( evil grin **) at it if you have it!

This is the limited edition grand piano by the Steinway & Son, maker of the world finest pianos over 150 years.
Who love it? Me...
The classic look of it, with the fine carving on it, this is definitely the one i will glance at !

This is another Steinway & Son grand piano
Got the feeling of the Jay Chou's -Secret
Go for Chopin's Nocturne Op 9, No. 2 with this, AWESOME !

I would LOVE to have this! It is in the list of things to buy in 6 years time ! I want it so BADLY.
I love music, i love the way how music touches people's heart, and the most important thing is i love to share music with other music lovers!!
A dream to become a pianist never faded away from my mind! This heels are freaking more than 10 cm! Irresistible awesome and sexy! What does it have to do with the pianist dream???
Well, i have plenty pairs of heels (which i think is kinda normal for girls) , and i would love to add this into my collection, but this pair is for the recital ONLY.
This pair will definitely goes well with the evening gown below.

A dream gown...of mine! I wanted to put this on, performing on stage....so badly!
I wish to have my own recital, get recognized, i wish.....

Tua Pui Po....

Happy 17th Birthday, chia..

I can't believe that you are 17 years old now....i'm old...

But i'm great that you are 17 now, i can have someone to share my problems with..

I used to scold you last time, for being rebellious, and always make people angry!

You did said that nobody loves you, even now, you will sometimes think that nobody loves you or pay attention to you...

That's so not true okay! We do love you, just that you are too into yourself, you don't like other's criticizes, and you don't like to admit your own mistakes...

Why do i write so much bout it? It is because i am happy that you are changing slowly, into a lovely girl, a girl that will care for others, a girl that understand what others gave her..

This is a good improvement!!

Chia, we ♥ you !!

Eric Frontière's EPIC

Eric Frontière
A French musician, who style of composing is greatly inspired by the well known Yiruma ( a pianist and composer from South Korean ) . Yiruma's soul touching compositions are so well known. The melody of the song are known as the best medicine to calm a person down, as well as to bring peace to the mind.

Eric's Evocation of an Epic Day works well for the soothing style melody. I can describe the starting as the "sentimental" relax- like melody. It go gives me some kind of sweet feeling, where that feeling is rather hard for me to explain it out. Solely the sound of piano, it is so narrative in nature, with a self contained story, often concise and relying on imaginary..
When it comes to the climax part of this piece, Eric uses some other instruments to help build up the so call Climax of the song. There is a big twist of the characteristic of the beginning part and also the middle part. The beginning part is rather soft and piano, as the middle part is rather RPG-ish (Joe Hisaishi's anime music perhaps) , but overall they still mixed up well!

Awakening of Love
Most of us probably remember the famous stary told by Dr. Hora about the Buddha. He is asked, " are you a God?" He replies no. "Well then are you an Angel? ""No, i'm not an Angel." "Are you a guru or a holy man?" "No, I'm not even that." "Well, then what are you?" "I'm awake."
"Awake" is defined as "to come out of the state of sleep"

I do fell that sense of "awake" when i listen to this song of Eric. Sometimes, people take such a long time just to understand a simple thing. Love, is simple. But why there are so many people who suffers from the love impact?
I've learn to to give..and to share. (0:37 - 0:54), this phrase is short, but it do brings out the whole feeling of this awakening.

Everybody has a dream, so do I. Since the primary school, when people always popped a question to me, asking me what is my dream, i will always answer that i wanted to be a famous pianist. A pianist that get to perform in a grand hall, with a classic grandy, sharing her music the people. I always wanted to be one, even today. It has been 4 years since i pursue my Mechanical degree, and getting farer and farer away from the music, but it doesn't lashes away my passion towards music. Dreams of Eternity, a song that is simpler than the Awakening, doesn't miss out from conveying the message to the listener. Listening to it makes me realize that there is still a dream waiting for me to go towards it.

Music is always the most beautiful thing. Life is boring without music. There are still lots of music passion-ners that keep on producing nice melody, which touches the heart of listeners. Time has gone, and my dream are yet to be achieved. I've wasted a lot of time worrying for nothing. I'm scared to take the first step as i'm always scared of failure. Listen to Eric's Time has gone make me realize that i need to really appreciate what i have, and keep going on searching for my dream before times out...
p/s: it do sounds like the melody in the song Close to you...

I've wish upon the Twinkling Stars that you are always safe wherever you are. I still remember that you once brought me for a starry view. Too bad, its cloudy that night and we can't see the stars, but we do have a great night, with all those conversations, dreams searching...
I don't know if the sky at your place if full of shinning shimmering stars, but here, whenever i see the stars, it makes me think of you...and be safe please..

The Yiruma-inspired songs are nice, but Eric also successfully brings out his style in composing such great pieces. As usual, SIMPLE is always the best.

Have a nice day ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿

Before and aftermath..

Well, i would like to say, these are the pics taken for like 3 months ago...when i was in the home sweet home, having 10 hours of sleeping time everyday. Oh, and also the afternoon nap as well..
Energetic me...

Few months later, i dare not take any picture...cause i have serious panda eyes, and also eye bags....Yes, blame the university for giving me so much assignments and mini projects!!!
Lack of sleep, what i had is just 5 hours of sleeping time only...sometimes @___@
Well, after this bloody final exam, i gotta sleep for the whole day, and apply the most expensive eye bag removal mask every single day !!!!!!

** Chaoz **
Have a nice day

Robota-Suki (Part 2)

Here comes the Robota-Suki

This is no kidding man! 1 month of hardwork, with other assignments on hand, we have to start doing the assignments simultaneously. 9am till 12.30pm, go for lunch, then back to workshop, from 2.30pm till 5.30pm. Oh gosh, life is so busy!!!! Oh wait, that was for the first 2 weeks, the next two weeks, we need to rush for it till 4am early in the morning!! Can you just imagine the panda eyes of mine now? I seriously need a super eyebag removal mask now. But thanks for the hardwork of everyone, we got 14/15 !!!!!

Well, Robota-Suki has a base (the shoulder), first joint(the elbow) the second joint (the wrist) and also the tool manipulator (the fingers). The structure of Robota-Suki is made of the Perspex (the one in transparent). We made some measurement on the perspex and i did actually used the saw to cut it into pieces. The motor is taken from motor of car power window, which cost us RM 45 each. The wheel is made of polycarbonate ( from milling and turning machine). The back bone of the structure is the solid steel, and also the hollow aluminium. What actually holds all the joints together is the strings on the pulley. The strings are just like our muscles, tendon, and also ligament. Woah...it's just like a human arm! Amazing..

Just imagine how you move your arm, from the shoulder till the fingers to grap the things. It applies to Robota-Suki too. The base can rotate, the joints can move up and down, its like you move your hand forward, and the tool manipulator are control by the servo motor. When there is an object, the tool manipulator will open and grap the object.

The verticle view of Robota-Suki

The tool manipulator, and that's the servo motor by Cytron. Does it looks like the eyes, with eyebrows, and it shows a happy face !! *teehee**
Love it so much..
This is when the joints move up, ready to move forward to grap the abject.

p/s: Dr. Ibrahim did ask us how many marks that we deserve. Honestly, i really think we deserve it based on the effort we put in, the sleepless nights we had, the improper meals...
Dr Ibrahim, thanks for noticing the hard work that we put into doing this, we appreciate it much!! And to my teammates, thanks for teaching me all this while, i do learnt alot from you all, doing all those so-called man job, dealing with all those huge oily scary machine, and who the hell said that a girl can't do that job !!! Screw...
